Larry Bailey


Former columnist for Practical Homeschooling Magazine.

Mr. Bailey, a technical risk consultant and a homeschooling father of four, earned his B.S. in Horticulture and M.A. in Political Science and Public Administration from Washington State University. A holder of the Competent Toastmaster certification, from Toastmasters International, he has more than six years experience coaching scientists, engineers, and secondary school students in public speaking and presentation skills. Among his other responsibilities, he helps recruit, retain, and recognize speech and debate volunteers for three homeschool debate clubs and one speech club within King County Washington. He also judges for the Urban Debate League in Seattle. Larry is the Treasurer of the Board of Directors for the non profit National Christian Forensics and Communication Association. He recently judged the elimination and final rounds for the Western Canada Parliamentary Debate Tournament at the University of British Columbia and for several West Coast college tournaments.
