Renee Mathis

Former columnist for Practical Homeschooling Magazine.

Renee Mathis secretly admits the real reason she loves homeschooling is that she has a legitimate reason for buying all those books! Her educational background includes majors in home economics, journalism, and child development. Past jobs include stints at a local TV news station, cooking school, and undercover restaurant reviewer. Currently she is involved in leading the West Houston Home Educators support group with her husband Steve, teaching their five children, acting as Assistant Sysop on the PHS forum on America Online, and reviewing products for PHS.
